Born in 1976. He has been heralded as Singapore’s most promising young filmmaker and the cult icon for Singapore. He has been shooting musical video and short films since the middle of 1990s. Laureate of numerous cinematic and festival awards and prizes. 15 (2003), the full length film he debuted with, was chosen to take part in the official program of Venice IFF 2003. His short film Cut (2005) was a prize-winner of Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival and Pacific Meridian IFF. His second film 4:30 (2006) was in the competition program at the Pacific Meridian IFF 2006.
