Director: Nicolés Pereda
was born in 1982 in Mexico City. He holds a Master of Arts in film directing from York University (Canada). He has made films and videos for several interdisciplinary plays, operas and dance pieces that have been performed in Mexico and Europe. His first feature film Dénde estén sus historias? screened in festivals around the world and won the best feature film award at the Morelia International Film Festival and the French Critics Discovery Award at the Rencontres Cinemas d’Amérique Latine de Toulouse. 2010. Verano de Goliat (Summer of Goliath) is his fifth feature length film.
Shocked by her husband’s sudden departure, Teresa embarks on a mission to find out what happened. Instead of finding answers, her mission becomes a journey through the streets and homes of the people she meets. Blending fiction and documentary, her wanderings portray the town and its inhabitants, suffering of loss, broken promises, disconnection and eternal longing.
