Graduated high school in the turmoil of collapsing Soviet Union. Used to work in a small company repairing car tyres, in different of advertising agencies. Studied at Estonian Business School, Institute of Humanities, Academy of Arts. In 2006 founds a film company Homeless Bob Production and shots his short movie Tühirand (Empty). Autumn ball is his first feature film.
How close can we get to others? Is it possible to live a life completely devoid of love? Can someone , who has experienced what a fragile state of affairs shared happiness is, trust someone again? What can be said about life anyway? Some chosen moments from the life of six people living in blocks built during the soviet era. What this world can demonstrate though is the possibility for laughter even there, where hope has long since become a sparse commodity
