Director: Alejandro Gerber Bicecci (Mexico)
Was born in Mexico in 1977. Studied Span- ish Literature, received a degree in film di- recting from the Centro de Capacitación Cinematografica with cum laude for his pro- fessional exam. He has written and directed three short fictional films and two documen- taries. Vaho, his first fiction feature, was shot at the beginning of 2008.
It’s a story of Andres, Jose and Felipe; three young boys facing post-adolescent limbo. The memory of a man’s lynching caused indirectly by them during their childhood – joins their paths, and simultaneously separates them. The story happens in Iztapalapa, a humble and forgotten area, plenty with fervent faith demonstrations.
