Jow Zhi Wei was a scriptwriter for a television production company before deciding to pursue a film education at The Puttnam School of Film. His first short film, Outing, had been screened at numerous international film festi- vals in countries like Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Jordan, Uruguay and Australia.
A grandfather and his grandson go on an seemingly innocent outing to visit places that hold memories for them. Through this simple journey the need of companionship and the sacrifices one has to make are brought to the fore.
